HS Student Halloween Help!

Our middle school Outdoor Halloween Concert will take place on the MRMS Field this year! We would love to see some of the familiar faces that we miss so much on Thursday, October 28th at 6pm! Since we will be outdoors, bring your lawn chairs and picnic blankets for a fun evening. As always, we invite our high school students to assist with various needs, and they can use this time for service hours for their various organizations. Sign Up below!

2021 Marching Band Leadership

The Marvin Ridge HS Marching Mavericks is pleased to welcome and announce the leadership team for 2021-2022 year. This diverse and talented group of young people will assist in the leadership and development of the band as we celebrate the 14^th year of bands at Marvin Ridge. The 2021 MRHS will be under the field direction of head drum major Sam Berman and assistant drum major Isabella Kang. Please join us in congratulating these fantastic students in their new roles!

If you are a wind Player, please look at the Part assignments for right now. These are the parts that you need to have memorized (or close to it), Mellophones, that includes you! The website for the Opener/2nd tune is listed below. Please disregard the Narration as it will be changed to pertain to our show. We will not be using the Full Sound effects as well. If you have any questions, please email me and I will try and answer them as quickly as I can.

Concert May 11

The high school band will give a spring concert on May 11 at 6:30 pm in front of the auditorium. Family members can attend , just bring some folding chairs or a blanket to lay out on and social distance as we play a few musical numbers. The Concert should be about 25 minutes and time enough for you to get home and catch your favorite 8:00 TV show.

Marching Band Practice Adjustment

We will not be having practice on Thursday, Sept 17 due to the weather that is coming our way from Hurricane Sally. We will make up this date on Wednesday, Sept 30 from 5:30-7:00 and check-in being from 5:00-5:20.  The kids are handling the new procedure very well and we have started learning the opener drill. Please remember there will be no Saturday performances this fall due to the virus.
