The 8th Grade Student Conductor Concert gives students the opportunity to step onto the podium and experience what it is like to lead an ensemble. Selected 8th grade students will conduct their classmates in prepared pieces, putting their musicianship, leadership, communication, and rehearsal skills into action. It’s a fun way to showcase our students not only as performers, but as young musical leaders.
