We have several things happening within the program right now, including an opportunity for our beginners to think about our extended instrument sections! Practice Tip of the Week: Create a schedule and aim to practice at the same time of day for each 20 minute session! Rather it be morning practice in the band room or afternoons at home, a routine makes all the difference!

Please note this week's updates in our newsletter linked below! All shirt and hoodie orders have been submitted, and will be delivered to students in approximately 2 weeks. We did order a handful of additional t-shirts, so please let us know if you missed the deadline and still need to purchase. 8th grade families who missed our Disney info session can view the handout below with those highlights. Registration/Deposits are due September 15th! Tuesday is a B Day!

Middle School Parents, we are thrilled that you are a part of our band family! Because Band has a few additional moving parts (which are super easy and super awesome...), I wanted to get this information out to you early. Please review the very important items on our Band Parent Checklist below. Supply lists, shirt and hoodie orders, concert dates, etc....all the things for another incredible year in the MRMS Band program!

All checklist items are due by Friday, September 1st!

8th Grade Families:

I would love the assistance of three or four 8th grade students on Friday, August 18th from 10am-12pm! If your student is available and can donate 2 hours of time to help get our band spaces ready, please let me know.
Don't forget to review the information about our Disney Trip! Parent Info Session on August 31st at 6:30pm in the band room, and Registration/Deposits are due September 15th!
