Chaperone Training Meeting

Description
 During the Marching Band season there are several events that require chaperones. Those events include parades, football games and competitions. 
 
If you are interested in being a chaperone this season, the first thing to do is become an approved Union County volunteer. Becoming approved is straightforward, simply type https://www.ucpsvolunteers.com/  and follow the instructions to register and complete a volunteer application.  Once your application is submitted, you will receive an automated email instructing you to confirm your email address. You will receive another automated email when your application is approved or denied. If you are already an approved UCPS volunteer, you should receive an email when it is time to renew.
 
There will be a brief (20 min) training held for all interested chaperones, Tuesday, August 27th at 7:30. 
 
Becoming a volunteer and expressing interest in being a chaperone doesn't commit you to chaperoning all events. Signups will be posted for each event through Membership Toolkit (MT). Being a chaperone for the band can be a very rewarding experience. Please consider supporting your Marvin Ridge Marching Mavericks.
