The All-District Band Audition will be held on January 17th, 2026 at Porter Ridge High School in Indian Trail, NC. If a student is selected to participate in the All-District Band, they will attend the All-District Clinic, held on January 30-31, 2026 with a snow date of February 6-7, 2026 at Stuart Cramer High School in Belmont, NC. More details will be given as we draw closer to these dates and after audition results have been posted. Please check these dates to determine your availability. 

Students must be able to play the required audition material displaying a musical/technical understanding and showing evidence of personal practice to be taken to the audition. Professional recordings of the All-District solos (performed by the faculty at Western Carolina University) can be through the provided links on your child’s Canvas page when available. This is an invaluable tool to ensure that notes, rhythms, and musical nuances (dynamics, articulation, note lengths) are consistent with a high quality musician.
