Since we had a few new members to recently register, we wanted to share the information below once more. Additionally, if you know of any other rising 6th grade students who are interested in the band program, we would still love to have them! Thank you for attending Tuesday's instrument rental meeting! If you have secured a rental for your child, no need to read any further. If you have not, please use the links below. All of this information can also be found on the 6th Grade Band tab of our website. We wish you all a safe and happy summer, and look forward to meeting you in the fall!
Rental to Own Information: A one time fee holds your instrument today, and payments begin in October!
Step 1: View the Rental Meeting Recap from our 4/27 Zoom with Music & Arts.
Step 2: Use the 2021 Instrument Selection List for your student’s placement! Please contact us if your child's name is missing!
Step 3: Use the MRMS Rental Links document to get started and process your rental! Select "fall deliver" so that we can check and prep your instrument for a great start!
How can I be sure I have the correct supplies?
Music & Arts will make sure that you have each of the instrument specific supplies in your cart at checkout! You can also view our Supply List page if you would like a head start at viewing our Required supply list for the fall!
Traditions of Excellence is our required text for band, and can also be placed in your basket at checkout on the Music & Arts site.
To create a balanced band sound...we are looking for more Trombones!
If your student had the trombone as a second choice, we highly encourage some exploration! While the instrument looks large and cumbersome, it’s actually lightweight and super fun! Check out the Trombone Demonstration Video! Interested in a switch? Let us know!
